November on Anna Maria Island
Holiday markets, Bridge Street lights, Thanksgiving dining and a quieter side of island life.
November is when Anna Maria Island begins easing into the holidays. The beaches are still there. The sunsets are still hard to beat. And with local markets, Christmas lights and Thanksgiving by the Gulf, there are plenty of reasons to stay a little longer.
Here are a few ways to enjoy the island this month—then leave a little room for doing absolutely nothing.

Let someone else do the cooking
A Thanksgiving escape does not have to mean an afternoon in the kitchen. These island options make room for a holiday meal and time by the Gulf.
